SUNY Brockport Scholarship Programs

Automatic consideration during admissions—no separate application required.
Types of Awards:

• Green Scholarship: $2,500/year — GPA 3.0 (88 avg.)

• Gold Scholarship: $4,500/year — GPA 3.5 (93 avg.)

• Prometheus (Honors) Scholarship: $6,000/year — includes parking pass, priority registration, Living Learning Community placement, and more.

• Residential Scholars Award: Free housing (1st year only) — GPA 3.85 (96 avg.)

• Eagle Scholarship: $1,000 — GPA 3.2 (90 avg.)

SUNY Oswego Physics and Physics Adolescent Education Majors Scholarships

Amount: Up to $4,000 over four years
Qualifications: High school students in Central NY (Cayuga, Cortland, Onondaga, Madison, Oswego) planning to major in physics or a related field; demonstrate leadership and academic promise.

American College Foundation Visionary Scholarship

Amount: $1000-$2,500

Qualifications: Complete Registration Packet online; 500 word, typed, double-spaced essay; transcript

Deadline: Application must be submitted online at American College Foundation by OCTOBER 31st

Track to the Trades Scholarship

Amount: $2,500

Qualifications: High School senior planning to enroll in trade school after graduation pursing in plumbing, HVAC or closely related field while embodying GRIT (generosity, respect, innovation, and teamwork)

Deadline: Application must be submitted online at Track to the Trades Scholarship by NOVEMBER 10th

Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Scholarship

Amount: Up to $55,000 (40 awards)

Qualifications: Be a high achieving senior with a GPA of 3.5 or higher; have financial need and plan to attend a four-year college.

Deadline: Application must be submitted online at Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship by NOVEMBER 11th

Elks National Foundation Scholarship Program Scholarship Most Valuable Student (MVS)

Amount: $1,000 to $7,500 per year! (500 scholarships available)

Qualifications: Must be pursing a 4-year degree (You do not have to be a member of the Elks club!)

Deadline: Application must be submitted online at Elks National Foundation by NOVEMBER 12th

10 Words or Less Scholarship

Amount: $1,000

Qualifications: Be between the ages of 14-25 and attending school in Fall. Go to the website and in 10 words or less, tell them why you deserve this scholarship.

Deadline: Application must be submitted online at 10 Words or Less by NOVEMBER 15th

Chuck Hall Star of Tomorrow Scholarship (and other Bowling Scholarships)

Amount: $6,000

Qualifications: Be a current USBC Youth member in their senior year; 3.0 GPA or higher.

Deadline: Application must be submitted online at Chuck Hall Scholarship by DECEMBER 1st

Aya Healthcare Future Travel Nurse Scholarship

Amount: $1,000 (10 available)

Qualifications: Be accepted to a nursing program at an accredited institution; 3.0 GPA or better, extracurricular or volunteer work

Deadline: Application must be submitted online Aya Healthcare.
